Re: Broadband dead

At the very least does the phone work? Does it have a dialling tone? No phone, no BB.

Re: Broadband dead

You really need a phone to do the basic checks, they are available for around £5 from Argos - other retailers are availble. Just dial 17070 option 2 - the line should be quiet, and the test should report your number.

Re: Broadband dead

What does it say in the Internet section on the initial Status page of the BrightBox after you log in? Obscure your names in the BB Username but post the 1st 2 parts of the IP addy. This will tell us at which stage EE have got to.

Is this for ADSL BB or Fibre? BrightBox 1 or 2?

Re: Broadband dead

You need to escalate this directly to EE Customer services asap. They'll be able to confirm that your line is disconnected.  This is not going to get sorted quickly.  Openreach will need to come back and effect a proper repair.  I would ask that Openreach check the repair by visiting you.  (it looks like they repaired the line but didn't check it was done properly).
