Brightbox2 as wifi repeater

Hi There,

I'm trying to setup a spare second brightbox 2 router as a wifi repeater as the wifi is poor on one side of the house.

I've got an ethernet cable plugged into the first Brightbox 2(1 of 4 yellow ports) and then the other end is plugged into the Red WAN port of the second Brightbox 2 router.

I've logged into the second Brightbox 2 router and changed the Radio setting to "Ethernet" and protocol to "Routing".

After that I'm confused about these subnet, DCHP bits(I'm a totally newbie to settings like that).

Do I need to call both routers the same name and have the same password? Is it the case that if I do that then wifi devices will switch seemlessly from one router to the other as we move around the house?

Many Thanks

Rob

@kirkofski: If you search this forum you will find many discussions on using a 2nd router to extend the wireless of your main 1, such as To make the BrightBox 1 a WAP on your LAN , where your 2nd BB2 will stand in for the BB1 of that article.
