Hello there, I'm new here and concerned about a message my Avast antivirus has flagged up following a Network scan, can anyone please advise?

Many thanks

Re: Brightbox vulnerable to attack

As the discoverer of this vulnerability said "For ordinary home users, this vulnerability does not exploit access points, but instead targets clients." Only routers that are configured to act as clients to a central router need patching. The Brightbox when used normally is not configured that way.
