Brightbox router goes dead

My router randomly powers off in the last 2-3 days. Unplugging and plugging kicks it back to life.

Is this a common problem ? Should it be replaced?

Its 18 months old and I've just renewed another 18 month's contract with them

Sounds faulty.

 

Actually reboots itself rather than resyncing? Then it's faulty. Call EE for a replacement.

As such its OK today.

But I'm quite wary about total shutdown which happened twice in the recent past.
