We had our new brightbox router installed today but unfortunately we can't connect to the Internet, on the router the broadband symbol is lit red and the Internet is not lit at all any advice on how I can solve this without an engineer coming out?

When is your go live date? Today? I think it can take up to 12 before you go live.
Also try turning it off your router for 20 seconds and restarting.

Have you just joined EE BB or were you already with EE BB?
What does it say after you log into the router:
Obscure your names & numbers in the BB Username but post the 1st 2 parts of the IP addy. This will tell us at which stage EE have got to.
Is this for ADSL BB or Fibre?
Does the phone work? Do you get a dial tone? Does it announce your correct no. when you dial 1470 17070?
