5g home-broadband router

Hi,

I’m moving house in 2 weeks & wired broadband is non existent (BT : 1-2mbps).

Looks like my best option is EE 4G home broadband (checked & the coverage is very good).

I like the EE 5G home router, displaying all of the usage & speed data.

My questions are :

Would the 5G router work in a 4G only area & provide the same information.

Is it worth getting the 5G router to future proof.

Many thanks

Re: 5g home-broadband router

  1. Mobile devices will always work on the lower G networks.
  2. Probably.
