I bought an iPhone 7 plus from my local EE store 2 weeks ago (12/8/17) and it's already not working. I haven't damaged it or anything, the battery is just not working.
It must've drained overnight or something but now the screen is completely black and the phone won't seem to charge.
Will this be covered by a warranty as I don't have insurance. I can't afford to go without a phone as I need one for college, work etc..

Can you try holding the power button and home button together and see if the Apple sign shows up?
This may take a minute or so.

Try a different cable and charger and leave it plugged in and see if it comes to life.
