early exit fee

OK, seen a offer on another netowrk , cracking deal for two Samung S8, contact EE for early settlement figure , 7 months left of contract, so guess how much is the difference from me paying my contract off early and paying it off each month and wait till the contract expires, 76 pence difference , very surprised at that

Tried to offer a similar deal but slighly more per month and no sky sports

Just really surprised at the exit fee, looks like if I want to take out the other networks offer, i am going to have pay for 4 phones on contract

Pay a fee Yes, but not save just 76pence

Re: early exit fee

You have to pay the remainder of your contract minus VAT.

Re: early exit fee

Vat is more than 76p so I would recommend speaking to EE again.

Re: early exit fee

Then you are either on a more expensive tariff or have more than 7 months left.

Re: early exit fee

All accounts? So you have more than 1?

Are they giving you the total price to cancel all accounts rather than just the one you want?

Re: early exit fee

It is a shared account, so the£46 is for both phones and the early exit fee is for both phones

Re: early exit fee

OK, did both phones get purchased at the same time? Or did one join afterwards?

Re: early exit fee

Also it'll be different how they work the end fee out then.

They don't combine both tariffs and then take off 20% it'll be done seperately.

Re: early exit fee

just doing it now, works out to pay a early exit fee would cost me nealy £50 more than letting the contract expire naturally

So there are saying if I take out 2 new contracts with the other network and wait for the contract with EE expire, I will save £50

Re: early exit fee

Doesn't work like that.

How much is each tariff?

Were they both purchased at the same time?

If not when were they purchased?

Re: early exit fee

Both together on a joint account account , so the £46 per month covers for both phones

Re: early exit fee

No not what I am asking.

How much is the tariff for the main phone?

How much is it for the shared phone?

When did you purchase the main phone?

When did you purchased the shared phone?

Re: early exit fee

Both phones purchased a the same time

£237.62 to early exit  phone 1

£86.62 to early exit phone 2

Re: early exit fee

Not exactly what I am asking but there is your answer.

You are paying an early exit for 2 phones. That is why it seems like you are not getting the 20% off.

But there you are.

How much is phone 1 tariff on its own not taking into account the sharer phone.

Re: early exit fee

Phones 1 is £35.99 per month

Phone 2 is £10 per month

So they want me to pay £50 more to temintate contracts than let the EE contract expire naturally
