define "call customer services"?

Back to the old 30 day notice period, you must "call" customer services.

Now in other places it comments that "call customer services on other platforms", so it can only mean the online chat is deemed as meeting this requirement.

Anyone with more legal minds answer this one?

What "old 30 day notice period"? It still operates.

You can't cancel by Live Chat. To cancel your pay monthly contract after more than 14 days, call 150 from your EE phone or call 0800 079 8586 from another phone or write to EE.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

Hello @mpopeye

Thank you for taking the time to visit the Community. Smiley Happy

You need to call customer service, from any platform that is capable of making a call (landline, mobile, VoIP). You need to physically speak to someone at EE to give them your 30 days notice or as already suggested, you can write to EE.

Using Live Chat or a form of Social Media is not calling customer service.

Re: define "call customer services"?

Your point is irrelevant as it's EE network policy. You cannot blame EE for your situation (traveling). So either phone in advance and settle early and move to PAYG, just cancel when you get the opportunity, or as @XRaySpeX has said write.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 07953 966 250 from any other phone.

EE standard opening hours are 8am to 9pm weekday, 8am to 8pm on weekends.

Hi @mpopeye

We would need you to either speak to customer services via calling or by writing a letter of disconnection.

Many thanks,
