I have a contract out with ee and when I logged in to my account to check out my usage, as i looked through the list of numbers that I have been sending text messages to, it showed this number 10020 0702 quite a few different times, which i don't recognise and certainly don't remember texting it, does anyone else know what this number mmigh be

Would you mind posting the whole line that no. appears in? I don't recognise it. They usually start 7000... .
Often these charges are reversed-charged texts from Premium Rate nos. you may have inadvertently subscribed to via Web or TV. EE are not obliged to refund you but you may complain to the Premium rate regulator Phone-paid Services Authority or the firm itself. You can check out those nos. yourself on that site.

Hi thank you for your reply, as u can see I haven't been charged for these, I'm just finding it a bit strange as to why they are showing, i read in another thread that someone said it was to do with imessages on the iPhone, but that cant possibly be as i don't have an iphone, I have the Sony Xperia xz1 compact

No problem I'm going to go a trip into the ee shop in town today as they're going to be sending my phone away to have it looked at due to other problems, like duplicate system apps, which i think may possibly be an error after the new oreo software update, so i shall mention it to them and see what they say, and i will give u an update on whats going on

Just an update on how I got on, no one in the ee shop knew what the number was, so after phoning up and speaking to customer services , they said its an activation message from different apps, which means ee doesn't only just itemise outgoing texts, they also log incoming texts to

I have phoned today and they said it's a subscription service but don't know the company so still no further forward
