I am traveling in South America and have not received any texts while here. I don't need to make any, so I don't need to pay for the add-on. Can you help?

@Stemedway30 Have you tried restarting your device? Have you tried turning off 4G ?

Please try the these steps:-
Try re-booting your device
Try turning 4G off in ‘settings’
Perform a manual network search and selecting a different network provider:-

i have tried that a couple of times now, the only network that does not say no service is Movistar. However I have no bars for service. Maybe that is the issue.

sms - ims work fine when I have wifi
I never seem to get any reception bars for the network

i am on monthly contract
not sure as no one has tried to calm me yet. It worked in bogota.
Since arriving in Medellin I have no signal

I recommend logging into your My EE account on your phone's browser (not the app) or a computer.
Once you're logged in, a chat window will pop up when an advisor is available.
If you can't get in contact with chat, please get in touch from an alternative phone.
