Just wondering if anyone can help.
I am currently abroad and out of Europe and I have sent the odd text.
To one person I have sent just one text but according to my account I have been charged for 5.
Any ideas as to why?

Was the text very long? It may have been split if it was over 160 chars.

No, it wasn't a long message at all and if it did go over I would have said two messages would have easily covered it.

@Gherky Emojis are sent as MMS not text message. A emoji is a picture message.

That turns it into an MMS or Picture Msg, but they don't cost 5 times as much. More like 50p instead of 35p when roaming.

Just letting you all know that this has been resolved.
I phoned Customer Services today and the extra chareges have been removed.
