@Ktkev  you cannot get an iPhone 6 anymore it's an iPhone 6s and this is a lot better than the iPhone 5s which is still available via EE but you can also get an iPhone SE which is the same size as the iPhone 5S and that is better than the 5S

Re: What's best iPhone 5s or 6

It comes down to the following:

Do you want a more compact size iPhone (the iPhone SE has a 4 inch screen the iPhone 6S has a 4.7 inch screen), if so then I would go with the iPhone SE (much better to go with this over the 5S as the iPhone SE will have a longer support life for software updates, due to it been a lot new than the 5S). The iPhone 5S launched in September 2013. Whereas the iPhone SE launched in March 2016.

If you want a larger screen and a slightly thinner iPhone, then go with the iPhone 6S (as @Chris_B has said the iPhone 6 is no longer available).

Here's a quick breakdown of the specs of both the iPhone SE and iPhone 6S.

The specs for the iPhone SE:

System on chip Apple A9
CPU 1.85 GHz dual-core 64-bit
Memory 2 GB LPDDR4 RAM

The specs for the iPhone 6S:

System on chip Apple A9
CPU 1.85 GHz dual-core 64-bit
Memory 2 GB LPDDR4 RAM

Has you can see, they both share the same Apple A9 processor and the CPU has the same 1.85 GHz dual core technology. This means that they will both be as smooth and fast as each other when doing the same task.

With the above in mind, and if you are not bothered either way about a smaller or larger screen iPhone, it might boil down to which you can get the best deal/contract on.

The other difference between the 6S and the SE is that the SE doesn't have a 3D Touch display; that is where you can access shortcuts from various apps by firmly pressing on apps, more details here.  If you have never used an iPhone with 3D Touch before, it does take a little getting used to!!
