What do you do to end a contract

My contract ends in september. What do I need to do to terminate it? Is just stopping the direct debit after last payment sufficient?

No, don't stop the DD yet. You risk debt collectors chasing you & spoiling your credit record.

Call EE anytime after 30 days before end of term & give 30 days notice of cancellation. Only once your final bill is settled can you cancel the DD.

Re: What do you do to end a contract

Hi @Michellejones1 and welcome to the community.

Please don't cancel your direct debit, please follow our guide on cancelling your pay monthly plan.

Hope this helps.

Many thanks,
