Customers are unable to access sports.williamhill.com on the EE network when using a specific IP range 213.205.nnn.nnn this seems to be due to the size of cookies?
Is there a specific limit on this proxy for that ip range?

@carlbloy Are you a customer or work for William Hill? I would say WiIliam Hill should call EE and discuss it with their technical teams and they can then both work together to see where the issue is and why it seems to be only from particular IP ranges.

213.xx IPs are Orange IPs.
I can access http://sport.williamhill.com using my Orange PAYG phone that has a 213.xx IP so it is just EE lines that are borrowing Orange 213.xx IPs.

Whose IP range 213.205.nnn.nnn is that? It's not William Hill's. What proxy?

Do you have a phone number as i've been unabel to find one?

You can contact EE on 0800 956 6000 options 2, 4 if you do not have an EE number to call from or input in to the IVR system.

I believe orange use the EE network?

Yes Orange uses the EE network now. Still a separate network but we use EEs infrastructure.

Hi @carlbloy,
Welcome to the EE Community.
I've tested the link at it's working fine on my EE mobile.
Thanks

Hi @carlbloy,
Please take a look at @XRaySpeX's question above.
Are you connecting over the EE mobile network or home broadband?
Thanks
James

The third octet of the IP address would be more useful but I assume it's registered to Orange/EE
08-02-2018 01:24 PM
we're doing this over EE 4G....but as i mentioned it's only on the ip range 213.205 that we hot the issue.
08-02-2018 01:25 PM
in this instance the 3rd octet is 192
08-02-2018 01:29 PM
Thanks, so it's an Orange GPRS IP address it's coming from.

Ah, that's better! Not all 213. range IPs are Orange but 213.205.192.x is "Orange PCS GPRS Services". Dunno if that could mean you'd get a diff IP on 3G or 4G.
@All_those_who_can_access_this_site: Are your IPs also in this range?

08-02-2018 03:06 PM
that does seem to be the case....yes....
08-02-2018 03:19 PM
The full range for "Orange PCS GPRS Services" is 213.205.192.0 - 213.205.223.255.

Any EE line using a 213.xx IP can only be a recycled Orange IP.
Did you speak with customer service about the issue? The site has stopped responding for me completely now (Orange PAYG 213.xx IP):
sport.williamhill.com is currently unable to handle this request.
The site loads correctly on my Three connection.
One of these options may help you find the answers you need.
