My 6 months free Apple Music finishes on the 7th of May. 

 

I want to go back to directly paying Apple my monthly fee once my 6 months free promotion ends. 

 

If i cancel it through My EE does it end immediately or does it end on the 7th of May?

Hi @Mikey86uk and welcome back to the Community.

 

I have found a small extract from our Apple Music Help Guide which may assist your question.

 

"If you text STOP MUSIC to 150 during your free period, Apple Music on EE will be removed immediately. If you cancel before the end of your free period, you won’t be able to add Apple Music on EE again later"

Hi

 

I had 3 months free of Apple music sometime ago i think it was when i upgraded last time.  Now i've upgraded again can i text music and its come back saying i can have 6 months but when i log into apple music its trying to charge me.  Am i out of luck as i've already had a free time.

I followed the link but it went to playstore so i closed it and went to the play store via the app and not online.  I don't have any active subs with Apple

I'm new to EE and just added apple music free for  6 months. It says runs out 6th December 2017 but when I try to use it , it says you do not have an apple music membership through EE but I thought I do. Any ideas what's wrong? Thanks

Have you registered for apple music yet?

 

If not, here is some information from our six free months of apple music  help and support pages.

 

You can add Apple Music on EE membership when joining, taking an additional line or upgrading to a pay monthly or SIM only phone plan with an iOS or Android device. 

 

If you didn’t sign up at the time you joined or upgraded, you can still add Apple Music membership on EE within 30 days.

 

You can do so in the following ways within 30 days of joining EE or upgrading:

 

  • text MUSIC to 150
  • call 150 from your EE phone and select the option to buy an add-on
  • call 150 from your EE phone within 30 days and speak to Customer Services.

Hello @Nickr did you choose Apple Music as your free add on when completing the order/upgrade? What response do you get when you text the code MUSIC to 150?

 

The free Apple Music offer must be activated within 30days of the order/upgrade. Smiley Happy

Hi Richard,

All sorted now. Spoke to one of your advisors on the phone and they did a
Sim refresh and then Apple Music worked on my phone.
