Last Wednesday I received new Sony Compact X through Carphone Warehouse and was told within 48 hours new sim would be activated. Nothing happened, old phone was still working. Contacted EE said they have activated SIM and within 24 hours it would work - now no service on either phone!

Have you restarted both phones. This may kick it into play.

It depends on when CPW put your order through as Friday was bank holiday and with the weekend it may not be until tomorrow or Wednesday before it's activated. No transfers happen over the weekend.

Yeh i have had a look under that dont know how I can contact someone online from there. I need to speak with someone on Livechat. I have a phone for nearly a week that doesnt work and I need it sorted asap.

You should see a button which reads 'Launch Live Chat' when a customer service agent is available.
If no agents are currently available, please try again later.

There is no link to launch live chat. This is an absolute joke, I have already spoken to EE who assured me sim would be working fine and still nothing. No service for 6 days now I have to just keep checking if an agent is available, shocking service!!!!!!!!
