Top-up by using E Top up card

Just  wonder if an "E Top Up Card (http://ee.co.uk/help/accounts-billing-and-topping-up/pay-as-you-go-top-ups/ways-to-top-up) is used to top up an EE PAYG SIM card, does the shop give an "official receipt" after the top-up is successfully transacted or simply swipe the card and tell you that it is done only?

If you are paying them money they should give a receipt. The Top-up card is just for Id'ing which phone it's going on.
