Still haven't received the Android O update on my Pixel XL

Hi

I have a Pixel XL and I haven't received the latest Android O update yet. Has anyone else ? According to Google it's available of this phone (being the current latest phone you'd expext it to ! ) so I don't know what the delay is. Does EE need to test it before they'll let you use it on their network ?
Thanks

Neil

Re: Still haven't received the Android O update on my Pixel XL

Hi @neilelliott71 and welcome to the community.

We released a Android O update on the 21st August, I've just been speaking to my social media colleagues and a couple of them have downloaded the new version already.

Many thanks,

Lee

Thanks for your reply Lee_H

Normally you get the update direct to your phone.

Are you saying in thgis case you have to download it directly ? Where from ?

EE have no control over the Pixel phones

It is Google you need to speak to.

Have you tried to search using the PC component on tour PC.

My colleagues were prompted to download the upgrade or went into the about part of settings and chose software update,

Many thanks,

Google always do updates gradually, unlike Apple where it's all at once.

If you can still sign up for the beta, you should get it immediately.
