I've just tried to activate and it fails sending a verification code because for some reason my phone number is set to 00000000000 and I can't change it. How can I resolve this?

hello, ive signed up with the apple music and i got a text saying i need to verify my account but when i click the link apple music opens and tells me i do not have a membership with EE and i've tried texting MUSIC again to 150 but it tells me that i've got a memebership already and to verify it, but when i click that link it tells me once again that i do not have a membership of apple music with EE. I'm confused as EE tell me i have the membership and all i have to do is verify it while Apple tells me i do not have the membership.

I text MUSIC to 150 this morning and have still not received a reply. Is there a problem with it or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance.

@Stevielad77 Have you had Apple Music before with EE ?
Have you tried texting music again ?

@Stevielad77 Don’t forget to download Apple Music app from the play store and also to create an Apple account within the Music app.

I've now been onto Help who have sorted out issue with number not showing up.
I've now tried to activate and it's just showing my old subscription (not through EE) that expired 26 July. Is this fixable? Is it easier to create a new Apple ID?
Edit: I've tried creating a new Apple ID but it's not working. Starting to think this isn't worth the hassle!

I've been onto Help Chat as well now. It looks like even though it's still showing my expired subscription, it's still allowing me to download and stream, which it wouldn't do if there was no active subscription so think it's probably working. I need to see whether it's having an affect on data, but as don't generally stream on data anyway (just download on Wifi and use offline, as I find the app/signal too flakey), that shouldn't matter too much.

What it shows is the Data used by a specific application not what each app has used so far in your price plan allowance. It is the Network that decides which of this data is included or excluded from your plan.
Normally the two should be pretty similar (so for example if watched a film on Netflix and the app showed that it had used 1Gb you would find your allowance had gone down by 1Gb as well when you checked it on your account),
However in this case the data being used by the Apple Music app is excluded at the Network from your usage allowance during the 6 Month promotion.

I'm trying to register for my 6 months Apple Music but it keeps telling me it needs to verify my number and then tries to send the verification code to 00000000000 so obviously it fails. Does anyone have any advice?
