SIM card damaged, have replacement SIM.How to changed phone number onto new SIM?

My old SIM card is damaged so I bought a replacement Sim, how do I keep my old mobile number but transfer it to the new SIM card?

Buying a new SIM is not a replacement. You needed to phone CS or go to an EE store for a replacement SIM. This would have the same no.
