No internet connection 2nd week now. switched to fibre optic....cut

After wifi being slow and being told several untruths from ee we decided to upgrade to fibre optic.

Was told date to go live ee cut off broad band in the morning and fibre optic would go live in the evening...box plugged in internet light flashing Orange no inter net.

After many many calls being told different things still no internet.

BT technician has been fault is outside need a very Special one to call now but we may have to pay if fault outside but they said fault is outside.


I have been told many different things.

Promised calls back nothing.


Am using all my data but not good has connect in my house only works in bedroom


I do not know what to do next ee making me I'll with the street of it all.

Usually BB can go live any time up to midnight on the stated date.


What does it say in the Internet section on the initial Status page of the BrightBox after you log in? Obscure your names in the BB Username but post the 1st 2 parts of the IP addy. This will tell us at which stage EE have got to.

Does the phone work? Do you get a dial tone? Does it announce your correct no. when you dial 1470 17070?


I hope you didn't upgrade to fibre just cuz the WiFi was slow. I trust you have been promised a good uplift in BB speed.
