New phone - new sim - not working?



Got the new Iphone 5. inserted SIM, text the magic number 3333 with the magic word.... ?SWITCH? and bang... nothing's happened?!

Sorry you didn't say, but I presume you sent the SWITCH text from your old T-Mobile SIM card/handset and not from the new EE one?

On sending the SWITCH text from your TM SIM, you should get a reply along the lines of 'thanks for your request, your T-Mobile SIM card will be disconnected and your new 4GEE SIM from EE will be activated shortly'

The switch thing also only works for switching from T-Mobile to 4GEE and not from Orange to 4GEE, which is a full number port.
