If I have a phone that just uses band 3 and 7 for 4G will this work with EE?

If I have a phone that just uses band 3 and 7 for 4G will I be able to get 4G in the UK with ee?

No not at all.  EE rolled out 4G on band 3 for about 2 years before the 4G spectrum auction.

Hi @Widgerwill

 

EE have 4G on Bands 3, 7 and 20. 

 

band 3 is 1800Mhz

band 7 is 2600Mhz

Band 20 is 800Mhz

Thanks for your response, yes I was aware of that. What I am asking is without band 20 will i still get 4G is it limited to certain areas?

@Widgerwill You will hardly notice any difference not having band 20 as it not widely used on EE.  4G will work perfectly well in most places without it.
