I cancelled an order for an iPhone X last Saturday.. I paid £419.99 up front when will my refund be processed? The money was taken out instantly and too be honest having read previous posts about people waiting on refunds I’m very concerned as to how long people waited!! Thanks for any help

Once EE have received both your cancellation request and any equipment you need to return, they will refund you within 14 days, using the payment method you originally used.

@Kerrylouise2202 Have you checked your EE account balance?
When I did this several weeks ago before the iPhone X had even been dispatched, EE didn't initially refund the original card I paid the up-front cost. The money was just refunded to my EE account meaning my account would have been in credit (which I did not want or ask for).
You have to then specifically ask customer service for the refund to go back to your original payment card, otherwise the credit will just sit on your EE account.
After I did this, the refund appeared on the card about 3 days later.
It's a proper faff I can tell you!!!

@Profile closed my previous ee was only pay as you go This was a brand new account so I’m not even sure how to check the balance on it 🙈 hopefully it appears soon..

@Lee_H I didn’t wanna mither too be honest as I just thought it would go in soon but since reading other people’s posts were it takes weeks I started to get concerned 😳🤔
