I'm currently abroad (Lanzarote), when I landed yesterday I received a text from EE saying that I can use my plan minutes, texts and data allowances at no extra charge and then a second message with emergency contact numbers should I need them, but these don't work so it looks like my roaming isn't working. Any help would be appreciated!

So I can try and help, please may I get you to perform a manual network search and choose a network other than what you are on.
Please also can I get you to try and dial a friend or family member using format of 00447*********, did this work?
Also, please let me know If you are using an EE personal or business account as I may be able to assist with our live chat service?

Hello @Emjago you can check your roaming status by logging in to your MY EE account online and navigating to MY EE>Manage device:
To enable roaming please call customer service on +447953 966 250 from another phone who have access to accounts. If it is an EE personal pay monthly account you can also access Live Chat:
