What's "48mmdx"? Do you mean a BrightBox 1?

If you upgrade to fibre they supply a BrightBox 2.

You can always upgrade to Fibre BB if it is available in your area. Whether it gives you any faster depends. Do you need it?

Just ask EE or look in your BB online a/c: https://web.orange.co.uk/r/login/
