Hi why does EE remove low value addons when low credit forcing top up.

Hi everyone, can anyone tell me if they have noticed or know a reason why EE remove low value ADD On options when you have low credit. I currently have £2.00 credit and could have bought 2 x 100mb of data but the option that was there just 2 minutes earlier had now disappeared. I feel a bit annoyed as maybe I dont have the funds to top up my account today and need to use the internet for work and personal reasons. Thanks for any info.

Hi and welcome to the community @ecigshopper

What is displayed when you pop over to http://add-on.ee.co.uk/purchase.

Are you still not seeing the 100mb add ons?

Many thanks,

@ecigshopper: Can you buy it by texting DP1 to 150?

Hi, thanks for looking, I have just checked again and it only offers data add ons over my £2 budget. FYI I did have £4 credit left earlier today and managed to buy 2 x 100mb add ons successfully.

Hi, tried the DP1 text, recieved one back saying if I did it the current data would be lost? It wont take long to get through what I have left tonight so will try when I have no data left. Peculiar system that doesnt want you to spend money!!!! I will post the outcome.
