I can’t get through to the customer numbers. I was informed in the shop I would have full use of my phone abroad as part of the 4GEEMax plan which obviously is not the case. Not great customer service here

@Mitchellthom88, What phone have you got? Have you switched your phone off and on again and have you tried using 0044 instead of +44 to make a call?
Have you done a manual check to connect to a network if you are not connecting automatically to a network?
If you need to ring customer service and have something like Skype or Viber, then you can contact customer service or use a landline to ring them up, but you will have to wait until the morning as EE is now closed.
If you are a pay monthly customer, then log-in via the web to your account and a pop-up should come up and you will be able to live chat to customer service, but you will only be able to do this tomorrow as EE is now closed.

Your plan may allow it but you still need to activate roaming before you leave
Can you log into MyEE? You might be able to enable it there. Or if you are on a PC, wait for the live chat window to pop up and talk to customer services to see if they can fix it.

Welcome to the community, I hope you're having a great time. 🙂
If you still need some help, I recommend logging into your My EE account on your phone's browser (not the app) or a computer.
Once you're logged in, a chat window will pop up when an advisor is available.
If you can't get in contact with chat, please get in touch from an alternative phone.
Enjoy the rest of your trip 🙂

thank you for your help, it’s really appreciated.
i have tried everything but it’s still not working. How often does the chat function become available as I have been on the browsers for over 20 minutes and no pop ups.
i don’t have access to another phone except from the hotel phone which is ridiculously expensive, can I not get a call back from EE?

@Mitchellthom88 Can you try skype over wifi? Call EE on +448009566000. 0800 calls are free on skype.
