I recently received my hh70vb 4gee home router. Last night was my first opportunity to try it with the PlayStation, which is the reason I converted to 4g internet. My wired internet was too slow due to distance from exchange.
Unfortunately, I couldn't solve the nat 3 issue. I tried turning on upnp. Eventually I put the IP address for the PS3 in the DMZ, but still wouldn't work. I believe some routers don't give a true DMZ, perhaps this is one?
My question is how do you set up port forwarding on this router? There is no port forward option. I went into the virtual server option, but couldn't work out how to set it up. It doesn't seem to accept a range of ports like 50000-60000.
Has anyone got there 4g router to work fully with the PS3? Can you talk me through setup please?

@Gavoid: Can you post an image of the Virtual Server page? I may be able to talk you thro' it from that.

OK, will do when I can view your image.

Sorry, I can't spot anything until your image has been passed by the Mods.

Looks like you have to it 1 port at a time ("port" is singular) & not as a range of ports, as is usually permitted.
Which fair enough as whenever I do Port Forwarding all my ports are a range of 1.

Ok. I agree that it appears I can only add one port at a time. Sadly, this is the recommended port forwarding I found for the PS3 :
Open up the following ports in both directions TCP & UDP:
That would be a lot of entries!
Has anyone had any luck at all getting a PlayStation to work with these routers?

There must surely be a more precise list of ports. I can't believe any application would need 1000+ open ports. It is extremely unlikely that it would latch on to all of them, thus leaving you open to attacks on the ones they don't. For starters, opening ports 80 (HTTP) & 443 (HTTPS) is highly dangerous but wouldn't be needed from outside on the Net by any server you'd be running.

I have HH70VB 4GEE router.
I am having similar issue with Nintendo Switch where I am unable to play 'Splatoon 2' online and the recommedation is to turn DMZ on and UDP port forwarding 45000-65535.
Is there a way around it as the Huawei version of the software for the above modem does allow changing NAT types and Port forwarding?
EE can issue over the air update to allow this?
