Hello @Gabriella20 does the SIM card work in another phone?
Try a network reset by tapping settings>general>reset>reset network settings (you will have to re-enter WiFi passwords after).

Have you used this SIM card before or is it brand new?
SIM not provisioned is almost always a SIM card fault. You can get a free replacement from any EE store.

Hi @Gabriella20 and welcome to the community.
If the SIM is not old or faulty it may be worth running a checkmend search this will advise if the handset has been reported lost/stolen which would stop the usage on the phone.
