Last month I was using my 'EE TV' app normally when suddenly I realised it kept freezing and not responding on my galaxy s6 smartphone. It has continued all the way through December and now into January. The app seemed a good way to use our remote (mine started rattling then it wouldn't work) My app was just starting up then coming up with a pop-up saying "EE TV has stopped" we know that it was down last week and we clearly need a new remote and we are getting one next week. This isn't much of an issue I just wanted to see if anyone else had the same issue so that I could help my mum about it.
Any response would be highly appreciated.

Welcome to the community.
When faced with errors like these, we recommend rebooting the EE TV box and closing and re-loading the app on your phone.
I'm happy to see that your replacement remote is on the way and hopefully everything is working going forward. 🙂
