I've just signed up to EE
Checking 150 for tarrif, it's replied to say I am on an EE 4G Max tarrif, the data allowance looks fine. The phone works. All good so far.
BUT, I cannot register online. It says the phone number is not recognised.
If I attempt to port my number from my previous provider, it thinks the phone number is not EE.
Is it because the number only went live today? How long would I be expected to wait until I can register the number?

Seems all I had to do was wait a few hours after the phone went live.
Would be useful if that was posted in a FAQ on the registration page (just a though!).
