EE Wednesday - for broadband user

Hi,

new EE broadbad user I want to geta  code but dont have an EE mobile - the officla help page  (

http://ee.co.uk/help/add-ons-benefits-and-plans/entertainment-add-ons/film-add-ons-and-benefits/ee-f... )  says i send a text from my EE mobile ...

" 3. When you've got the text back, text CINEMA to 60005 from your EE mobile. You'll get a text straight back with your code  - the  text costs 35p.  "

is this misleading - am i basically registering my mobile (on giffgaff) against my landline and it will work, dont want to waste 35p texts !

I notice that 2 for 1 is finishing :-(

Re: EE Wednesday - for broadband user

Yes, you can register and apply for EE Weds tickets from any mobile. I've been using an O2 mobile for it for years. As you say, you are effectively registering your any-network mobile against your BB landline.

Whether the registration will work is a moot point. Since EE took it over the JOIN hasn't always worked and we had to call EE to register for it manually. Have you JOINed successfully by getting a affirmative text?
