Have you moved to EE from another network and brought your old number with you?
When you say you can't register your number. Are you trying to create a My EE account, so that you can view your usage/allowances etc?
Do you get any errors shown on screen when you are trying to register your number?

IM trying to register ye new number just keeps saying confirm number and does not do nothing else

You should have received a verification email which you click on a link in order to confirm your email addy. Have you looked in your junk mail?

Payg it is and it's a new number I've confirmed my email it's the number that keeps sayimg

There is no live chat for PAYG. You need to phone EE.
