I have just bought a PAYG simcard to use in my Audi Connect. Connect will recognise the card ok but I cannot get any connect services as it only shows as 2G when it should be 4G.
Does anyone know of a way to fix this issue.

@Jetstream Can you put the sim in to a phone to see if that picks up 4G ?

As the sim is definitely picking up 4G there might be a setting on your car that can enabled this. If you cannot find it you might need to call Audi and have them look into it. It might simply be a case of your car doesn't pick up the EE 4G/3G bandwidths.

I did try another sim from another provider and that get 4G straight away, but when I put the EE back in it still only showed 2G so I don't think it can be a car problem..

@Jetstream It could will be the car still, the car might not pick up EE 4G/3G bandwidths. Just because it works with a different 4G SIM card doesn't mean it will work with EE's. The network providers all use different bandwidths. It might be best to pop in to your local Audi dealers and ask them,

@Jetstream It could just be a simple setting on the car that could be changed. There might even be something in the onwers manual.
