I bought a new ee sim card as I wish to change my telephone number, is it possible to keep my ee account as it is, with the same pay as you go £10 text & talk (30 day) package, with the mins boosts that I have earnt. Also would I be able to do this and the current mins left would be transferred also?
Does anyone know, and how to go about it?
Thanks

Hello
Do you have to keep this new number you have purchased? Or can it just be any number? I'm sure if you rang 150 you can have the number changed if you're being harassed and it would be free of charge. That way you keep same physical SIM and allowances / loyalties you have accumulated.

Thanks for the quick reply, the phone is my boyfriends and he likes to have a pick of numbers available when he buys from the shop so he can have one which is easy to remember. Also I have read that they can charge you something like £35 to change number with customer services.

Hi @cupcake1978
Thanks for posting in community 🙂
If this is a separate number then you will need to register a new My EE account with it.
I would recommend a quick chat with our pay as you go team and they can look into this with you.
Thanks
Richard

Hi Richard_C
You say I will have to register a new My EE account with the new EE sim card with a different number, will I be able to get my boosts transfered from my current EE account to the new one you say that I will have to register.
Also is live chat online available to pay as you go customers? or will I have to call 150 to have a quick chat with the pay as you go team as you recommend? And will the 150 call come out of my remaining minutes on my text & talk package or will I be charged per min?
Many thanks,

@cupcake1978 Sorry but you have to call, live chat is for contact customers only.

Hi @cupcake1978
The best thing to do would be to give us a quick call on either 150 or 07953 966 250.
The pay as you go team will check both accounts and see if this is possible for you.
Let me know how you get on
Have a lovely day!

Hi @cupcake1978
The charge to call 150 is 25p for the full call.
If you prefer you can call us on an alternative line using the 07953 966 250 number.

Just a reminder to my question.....
I know I should call customer services on 150 as advised, but not making excuses, haven't got round to it yet.
Does anybody know anything on here?

Hi @cupcake1978
Yes, you would keep what's on the account as you are buying a number and keeping the same account.
The prices vary depending on what type of number it is.
Many thanks,
Lee
