Been over 10 days since applied for unlock.

I applied for an unlock form online for my iphone 6 on 20/12/2016 and I received this email straight after however i have not been contacted since and it has been more than 15 days.

Thank you for your request to unlock your device.

The time it will take depends on the device you want to unlock:

  • Apple iPhone / iPad - you'll get instructions on unlocking your device within 10 days.
  • Any other device - you'll get your unlocking code and instructions on how to unlock your device within 10 days.

For some handsets, we have to ask the manufacturer for your code.

If this applies to you, we'll text you on the number you've given us with details of any delays this may cause.

Hi @nehal0201 and welcome to the Community.


So I can try and help, please may I know if you have checked the junk/spam mail folder in your email?


Please also try and pop another network SIM into your device and try a backup and restore.

Yes, i have checked the spam folder and there is no message and when i try to put in a different sim card, an error comes up telling me that i need to activate the phone. is it still worth a backup and reset?
