Can you clarify what you mean by "EE no number", do you mean it was sent from either 'EE' or -EE-?

While I understand you stated 1998, EE was not around in 1998, EE was formed by merging Orange and T-Mobile in 2012 and EE operate as an independent company from both Orange and T-Mobile.

What I am asking is, have you recently signed up for another phone, SIMO, broadband etc recently? EE wouldn't be texting saying, "now that your with us" unless you have signed up for a EE service recently?

You may not have signed up for anything, but with how things are these days, you never know if someone has signed up for something in your name using your account. I'm trying to help make sure something suspicious isn't happening.

Apologies that I missed your question, can you confirm, are you referring to the question "-EE- whats the difference" that you asked?

So you have recently upgraded, did you upgrade from either Orange or T-Mobile or was you already with EE when you upgraded?

You are with EE. EE use both 'EE' and -EE- to send text messages to customers. Usually 'EE' are used for text messages relating to your account and -EE- are normally for marketing text messages. However, sometimes you will receive an account text message from -EE-. Smiley Happy

Ah, the text message you received is an auto generated text message from EE. It's nothing to worry about. Smiley Happy
