Are there plans for 4G signal boxes?

Living in an area with little to no signal I am forced to use a signal box in order to generate a usable signal. The current offering however is a bit lacklustre as it obviously only puts out a 3G signal and of limited range, making it of little use if I am even a few metres from the house.

Other networks such as those in the US offer 4G signal boxes with a much greater range and speed (see this link: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-24281#firstheading).

Is this something that EE might offer in the future?

Re: Are there plans for 4G signal boxes?

Hi,

This is highly unlikely as EE now offer VOWIFI on their handsets which means the old signal boxes will become obsolete. Can you not use this service on your handset?

Thanks,

No, my third party device (OnePlus 3T) works with VoLTE but not WiFi calling at this time. I imagine this is the case for a lot of people as the latter seems even more locked down than the former.
