I believe they only work in UK or at most EU.
You may top up at an ATM, using the top up card in a shop or buying a voucher in a shop.

Hi @sdrawcliffe and welcome to the community.
You will be able to use the 4gee wifi mini in the USA, please use the mobile number connected to the sim and top up via an ATM machine.
@XRaySpeX it is only the 4GEE Home routers that have the UK restriction.
Many thanks,
Lee

Sorting what? All you need to do is top up. You could buy a new PAYG data SIM if you like.

Hi @sdrawcliffe
When you have topped up and you try to use your WIFI mini overseas it will alert you to purchase a bundle compatible with the country you are in.
Many thanks,
Lee

@Lee_H Are you sure 4GEE mini WiFi dongles will work in the USA?
Last time I checked they only had LTE bands 3 (1800Mhz), 7 (2600Mhz) and 20 (800Mhz)and UMTS bands 1 (2100Mhz), 3 (1800Mhz) and 8 (900Mhz), none of which are used in the USA unfortunately?

@Lee_H: How does that square up with @Profile closed saying those bands don't work in US but yet elsewhere you say this device does work in US?

Hi @XRaySpeX
We now have confirmation that the device will only work on the bands I have supplied above.
If USA is on different bands the device will not work.
Sorry about the confusion.
Many thanks,
Lee

There is no LTE band 3,7 or 20 in the US. Details here.
(sat using AT&T LTE band 2 as I just landed at Atlanta and we are sat waiting for our gate to be vacated!)
One of these options may help you find the answers you need.
