iPad sim won’t work

I have recently added an iPad to my contract with its own sim. This was a gift for my boyfriend so is logged into his Apple ID but it is on my account and I pay for it. When we have tried to set the sim up nothing happens it connects to the WiFi but does not show any service or 4G. I have tried doing it on my Apple ID but the sim still doesn’t work.

@rachaeldowle Try a network reset by going to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network  Settings the night follow the prompts until your iPad reboots automatically.


If there is still no EE cellular service, you will need to ring EE from another handset or landline and ask them to activate your SIM.  Use the 0800 956 6000 free phone number.
