please can anybody help,
i have had my number for years and for the last week i have been getting phonecalls saying they have had a missed call from me. i have not phoned any of the numbers that are saying this.
i have also had texts etc says it it a scam!
i phoned EE telling them about the problem and they have only 2 suggestions change my sim (WHICH I DID SATURDAY) or change my number which i do not want to do as i have had it for so long.
obvioulsy changing the sim did not work, even though the customer service guy was pleasant he said he hasnt heard of this before and the teq team are not aware of this kind of issue, which i find difficult as i have read a number of people have had this problem.
apparantly EE do not have a fraud team which i am a bit concerned about considering they are the biggest network, and if people can use customers numbers it will not belong before they are able to get into our phones and use our private information??
any help with this would be appreciated as i DO NOT want to change my number and honestly i shouldnt have to!

This is the first I have heard of this myself.
But there is a fraud team within EE. I would ring back up and ask to speak to them.
But these people could just be cold callers saying you called them when you actually didn't.

@NIKKIR123 What firmware is the device on ? Look in Settings>General>About/ version. What numbers does it say ?
