@Nigelcooksley Your going to have all customers services about this.
Is this a new Apple Watch ? If it is Apple watches can not be linked to PAYG accounts.

If this is a new Apple Watch and you are trying to get the cellular add on activated. When I was having an issue when doing the same, I was given this number to get right through to the department that deals specifically with the Apple Watch.
But like @Chris_B has said, you cannot use the cellular feature of the Apple Watch with an iPhone that is on pay as you go.

Rang 150 on Wednesday . Still no resolution to the problem.
they said they would sort it and get back to me.
Everything else works perfectly, just can’t activate Esim on watch.
