Re: Why does my Apple Watch not connect to 4G signal when I’m in France using Or

Hello @markymalarky

Thank you for posting in the Community today. Smiley Happy

Can you confirm, does your Apple Watch connect to 3G while roaming in France?

EDIT 1:

I've just done some research and your Apple Watch should connect to 4G. Orange France uses B3 (1800 MHz), B7 (2600 MHz), B20 (800 MHz DD) and B28 (700 MHz APT) and the Apple Watch is compatible with B3, B7 and B20! Smiley Happy

EDIT 2:

Further research has discovered that roaming is not available on the Apple Watch Series 3 (4G) plan. I found this on the Community here.

This information is also available on the Apple website, here.

Can I use my Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) internationally?
Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) does not support international roaming.

Hi @markymalarky and welcome to the community.

Unfortunately, roaming is not available on the Apple Watch Series 3 (4G) plan.

However, you'll still be able to use most of the features if it's connected to your phone via Bluetooth or it's connected to WiFi.

Many thanks,

Lee
