Unauthorised charges on account

I have received a bill showing 7 charges of £29.99 being made against my sons mobile number.

They are referenced to Microsoft, but haven't been purchased by him or anyone in the household.

The purchases were all made within a 5 minute time frame.

How can this happen and how do I get the charges refunded?

Thanks

Re: Unauthorised charges on account

Hi @Lizzy12

Welcome to the EE Community,

for a charge from Microsoft to be added to  a bill a code would need to be sent to the mobile number authorising the payment once the initial code has been entered it will allow the user to make multiple purchases.

EE won't refund third party charges as they can only be added by the user of the phone.

Thanks,

David.
