Re: Status of my unlock request

Good morning @Niff

Thanks for coming to the community.

What date did you request the unlock?

It can take 10 days for the device to be unlocked.

Also have you checked your emails including junk/spam for confirmation?

Thanks 🙂

Re: Status of my unlock request

Hi there,

Also having the same issue here.

Requested an unlock 10 days ago but not yet heard anything (have checked spam etc).

My unlock was requested 28th December, is the leadtime in working days?

Good Morning @Kerrylondon

Welcome to the Community! Smiley Happy

Due to the Christmas and New Year bank holidays it may take a little longer.

Your 10th day would be today.

If you haven't heard anything by Monday let us know.

Thanks - Karen. Smiley Happy

Re: Status of my unlock request

Hi Karen,

received the below text today:

Hi from EE. We are unable to complete your unlocking request as the IMEI you provided does not match the IMEI paired to your account. Please check your handset's IMEI number in the settings menu of your phone and if different please resubmit your request via https://explore.ee.co.uk/unlock . Thank you, EE.

I received a new phone for Christmas which I have stared using (this will be the one paired on the account).

how do I go about unlocking my old phone?
