Not receiving security check code

Hi there, 

I am trying to add a device (mobile phone) to my EE acount, but I'm not receiving the security code. I was able to successfully add credit to the SIM. I am currently in Canada for a few weeks, if this makes a difference? 

 

Any information will be of great help. Thank you in advance!

The SIM card would need to be activated when you are in the UK.

@dptelford  So your trying to activate a SIM card.  This can only be done within the UK when you connected directly to the EE network.

That's correct. Am I able to activate the sim if I call customer services? Or do I have to be in the U.K. to activate the sim?
