My iPhone 7 seems to have died. There is only a white screen with the black apple symbol. I am not due an upgrade until next August. Any ideas?

If you can turn the phone off, do this then try holding the volume down button with the power button. It should go into recovery mode, connect the lightening cable to your phone and computer. If you have the option, chose to restore your phone.

Thanks for the suggestion. However, I have already tried that. Despite the fact the phone needs charging at least daily, it still has power after 10 days later! None of the buttons are responding.

If you have an iPhone 7, it should be in warranty until 12th September. If you got yours after September last year then your warranty should start from the date of your order.
You should be about to check on the apple website by entering your phones serial number or Imei. These can be found in settings general about

My troubleshooting was for an iPhone 7.
Hold the home button with the power button then turn it off. Release the buttons. Attempt to turn the phone on. If it's no better turn it off again then hold the home button with the power button to enter recovery mode. Connect the cable to your phone and computer. In iTunes choose restore.
