Hi, I keep inconsistently getting the message could not activate data network. It works fine again when I restart the phone but as you can imagine it’s really annoying to have to do that! I’ve just upgraded and it was happening on my phone before that too. I’ve had a different SIM card for the new phone and no problems with my account for data. I’m in an area that has 4G... can anyone help?!

So far it looks like it’s when I’ve left home and I’ve transitioned from WiFi to 4G. If I turn it off and turn it on again it’s fine, but I don’t understand why it keeps doing it?

I’m using iPhone 6S Plus currently and before that I was using iPhone 6 with the same problem. I had a new SIM card when I upgraded too.

I’ve just tried that now... it’s definitely happening when I move from WiFi to 4G as if it’s not recognising that I’ve got 4G it that makes sense. Ill see if the reset has made a difference

It was fine all last night and it’s just fine if again this morning 😔 it’s definitely something to do with then it loses WiFi and tries to use 4G.
